How to store printed documents images on the hard drive instead SQL database.
To reduce database space usage you can use server hard drive to store printed documents images.
- 1Run regedit.exe and open the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\O&K Software\O&K Print Watch (for х64 operation systems HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\O&K Software\O&K Print Watch).
- 2Create variable LocalJobStorage type REG_DWORD and set it to 1.
- 3Create variable LocalJobStorageDirectory type REG_SZ and setup hard drive path, where to store pring jobs images and contents.
- 4Restart O&K Print Watch Service.
It can take some time, depending on existed number and size of existed print jobs in the current database, to transfer printed jobs conent from a database to hard drive.
New printed jobs copies will be saved on hard drive too.
This is default mode in O&K Print Watch for SQLite database.
